Ruby McGuill

Pianist

    Ruby McGuill began playing piano as a small child and her first call as a church pianist was at the young age of twelve.  Since that time, her gift of music has branched into many forms.  She continued as a congregational pianist in various accompanist positions throughout life.  She began as the chancel choir accompanist for LaGrange First United Methodist Church in Spring 2009 and serves in that same role with us at New Life Methodist. 
    Ruby has shared her talent with many children and adults through teaching for 15+ years.  Ruby began writing original programming in 2012 categorized as Biblical Fiction.  Each story is a narrative that also implements her vocal talent throughout the presentation.  She also a published author, gifted speaker, photographer and has developed her own inspirational greeting card line. 
    She and Grady moved to La Grange in 2018 and will celebrate their 38th Anniversary in 2025.  They have the joy of two very talented adult children.
