Missions is at the heart of Christianity.  From the earliest days, Christians have shared the love, hope, and message of Jesus beyond the walls of their own community.  For us, missions aren't just a program; they're an expression of who we are called to be.  Jesus' command to "go and make disciples of all nations" isn't a suggestion; it's central part of the church's identity.  Through missions, we reach out to all our neighbors, meeting physical needs, building relationships, and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ in both word and deed.

Shoe Boxes

Christmas Child

Each year our church helps prepare and send the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes.  Packed with quality toys, school supplies, personal care items, and religious material, these boxes become a tangible expression of God's immense love for the child.  The idea is to bring a bit of joy and hope to kids who might not otherwise receive gifts, and every box is delivered alongside a message about the Christian faith.  It's a simple way for people to make a direct, tangible impact in a child's life, one shoebox at a time.

The YWAM Base in Budapest offers a Discipleship Training School (DTS) and is engaged in outreach throughout the city.

TWOP

2nd Chance

Second Chance is a resale store in La Grange, operated by volunteers from a coalition of seven local churchs and the wider community.  Since 1996, Second Chance has raised over $4 million for local charities and human service organizations by reselling donated goods at low prices, making essentials accessible to families in need across Fayette County.  Profits support a variety of programs, including food pantries, healthcare, scholarships, and emergency assistance, while unsold items are donated to those facing hardship.  The churches involved receive no financial benefit from the store - Second Chance exists to serve and uplift the community.

Thanksgiving Meal

People receiving Thanksgiving meals We partner with Crosspoint Community Church to provide FREE Thanksgiving meals on Thanksgiving Day. Volunteers prepare a full meal with turkey, dressing, side dishes, and dessert.  As Thanksgiving draws closer, we ask for everyone to RSVP the number of plates needed for pickup.  We alternate locations between the two churches.  For 2025, Crosspoint will host this ministry.
